Saturday night saw freezing temperatures across much of Spain and so Real Sociedad visited the Nou Camp in the bitter cold. While the Catalans went 2 goals up thanks to Tallo and Messi, the visitors scored just two minutes after Messi’s goal. The team had a number of B team players due to Guardiola resting some players ahead of the Copa del Rey clash with Valencia on Wednesday. According to AFP:

Barcelona beat Real Sociedad 2-1 in the Nou Camp on Saturday to keep alive their title hopes and remain seven points behind leaders Madrid, who earlier had beaten Getafe 1-0 thanks to a Sergio Ramos goal.
