FC Barcelona Schedule

Barcelona slipped from the la liga top spot on Saturday night after a 0-0 draw with Sevilla, while arch rivals Real Madrid won their away match with Malaga to take the #1 position. However, that didn’t last long as Levante won their sixth match straight to take the first spot for the forst time in their 103 year history. A report on IBN Live says:

The modest club, which has the smallest budget in Spain’s first division, extended its record start to move one point ahead of Real Madrid and two points ahead of defending champions Barcelona.

Forward Juanlu Gomez scored twice before half-time at El Madrigal stadium, and striker Arouna Kone added another after the restart as Levante repeatedly caught Villarreal flat-footed on the counter-attack.
